Paula Williams joined Royal Credit Union last year as their Credit Risk Officer and is based out of White Bear Lake, MN.
She is a seasoned banking professional with a career spanning lending and credit functions for Middle Market Commercial & Industrial, Commercial Real Estate, Community Banking, Professional Practice, Private Banking, and Secondary Market lines of business in small- to mid-size community and regional banks. She has been RMA Credit Risk Certified (CRC) since 2007 and has sat on the National RMA CRC testing standards committee as a Subject Matter Expert.
She has been a member of the RMA MN Chapter since 2013. She served on the Education Committee from 2016-2021 and chaired the committee for all but one of those terms. She went on to serve as the Treasurer from 2021-2024, Secretary from 2024-2025, and this past year, she served as Vice President and Chair of the Programming Committee. She is looking forward to serving as the chapter President this term.
Paula has a Bachelor of Science in Business with a self-designed emphasis in Banking from the Carlson School of Management at the University of MN. Paula is an avid traveler, boater, and reader.
